We had a great weekend. Jonah ended up being home the whole weekend which was great!! He had forgotten that he had okayed the family picture time for Saturday am. He hasn't been home all weekend for months!! We had our family pics taken down in Providence. I'll post the link once we get them. Hopefully they came out great. No one cried this time but Jacob thought it was funny to not look at the camera. Always something! Caleb had a really high fever after we got home from pictures on Saturday so his day was spent sleeping. The doctor said just to watch his fever and give him lots of liquids and motrin to keep it down. After sleeping basically all of Saturday he was fine on Sunday. Hopefully a 24 bug.

Sunday was so warm out it felt like summer!! Figures since we had put all the storm windows down on Saturday. We spent the afternoon out at the playground which the boys loved.

Jacob wasn't feeling very good one morning so he decided to lay down with Stanley and rest. Stanley loves someone to cuddle with!

The boys are still so tired from not being adjusted to the time change. Basically they are losing an hour of sleep every night b/c they are getting up an hour earlier. No fun!!! Caleb is really walking a lot. He loves it! Nana came over last week before she left for Florida. The boys loved seeing her! She always has chocolate in her purse for Jacob which he thinks is the greatest.

Caleb had a little stomach bug or something for the past few days. So he is on a diet of no dairy, which is really hard since that is basically what he subsides on! The other night at dinner he threw up all over his tray in the 2 minutes I was gone with Jacob in the bathroom. I came back and Caleb was happy as could be and still eating!! So I washed off his tray, laid a towel across his lap where it was dirty and gave the kid more food. I guess he was just making room for the new stuff.

The boys are not adjusted to the time change yet!! So Caleb has been up at 5:30 and Jacob at 6:30 every day. They need to sleep longer. Hopefully soon they will get readjusted.

Happy Halloween! The boys had a great day. We went to a pre- trick or treating party for all the neighborhood kids before going out. Everyone had some dinner and then off we went. They had a blast. Jacob really understood it this year and he really liked the whole idea of getting candy! Caleb ended up having to miss the trick or treating b/c he was so tired maybe next year he can make it! Grammy and Scooter stayed at our house and handed out candy while we were out which was great since we had a ton of candy and didn't want to miss any trick or treaters. They said we probably had about 70-80 kids!!! And we don't even get the huge masses of kids because our house is not in the middle of all the side roads.

Jacob lost steam about 20 min in to trick or treating and ended up riding in his friends Luke's wagon. It suited the 2 of them just fine because they just ate candy. Talk about a sugar overload!!

Jacob had a Halloween party at school today. It was so cute!! He dressed up as a lion and sometimes he'd even roar if he wasn't being shy. His best friend Luke was a dinosaur. So cute!! Caleb loved seeing all the kids dressed up. We have a Halloween party before all the kids go out trick or treating they are all going to be so cute!

The boys had their first joint sleepover at Grandma Honey and Uncle Wiggley's house. They had a blast! We went to Mohegan Sun with friends to see Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. Everyone had a great time! We need to try to get away more often since that is only the 2nd time we have ever left both boys overnight. Its a nice treat for everyone.

Caleb loves to point to himself and say "Dada" he thinks its so funny!! I'll correct him and say Caleb and he just laughs and does it again!! Some humor on this funny guy. He is also sprouting another tooth finally. He's been stuck at 7 teeth for about 2 months now. Caleb has also been walking a little bit more. Jacob is going to be in for a rude awakening once he can walk!!!

Jacob is so vocal and really likes to do everything himself. Including putting on his belt!! I have to allow extra time for that if we have somewhere to be b/c he is not real fast at getting it through all the loops and then buckling it. He has also really started wrestling again with Caleb. Not fun!! Caleb enjoys it for a little bit but then gets tired of being knocked down repeatedly. Jacob doesn't seem to be picking up these clues from Caleb so he's been spending more time in time out now. Hopefully this is just a phase that will pass soon!

We have been getting ready for Halloween and I bought the candy today with the boys. Both were fratic to eat some!! Caleb was trying to chew a hole in the bags and Jacob kept telling me he didn't like the flavors I was buying!! He calls the candy trick or treats. They are going to be so excited this weekend to go trick or treating with their friends!

Grammy came over to visit with the boys. The love to eat yogurt all the time now!

Brrr!!! Its so cold here again! We went with the mom's club to a local farm for a carrot tour. It was fun but so cold! I hadn't expected it to be so cold so of course my kids were the only ones not dressed warmly!! But they powered through and got a bag of carrots and a pumpkin each. Our house is getting painted outside. Its looking great!! Finally all that blue is going away!

Jacob is such a sweety this morning he said "Mom you look pretty". Really, now how can that not make my day!

Jacob is very helpful with making sure Caleb doesn't get anything that is too big as he could choke on it. So he's very careful at breaking things up for him. Such a great big brother!
